TOYOTA HILUX HYBRID Toyota, New Zealand

Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland invited us to develop a way of turning this headline into a physical object that could be towed around New Zealand.

The challenge was to make it feel genuinely heavy, 3.5 tonnes heavy, while remaining clear and legible from a distance and from every angle. The design needed to be simple enough to fabricate, practical enough to transport and still have a strong sculptural presence. All while meeting New Zealand road rules and safety requirements.
